Minor Guitar Chords Chart: They're So Sad!

This guitar chords chart continues your education of common chords.

These are the minor chords. All minor chords sound sad when compared to the major chords which are happy sounding.

To understand how to read this page go to the Major Chords Chart. (click here for Major Chords)

PRACTICE: Like the majors chart says, you'll want to get moving between the chords cleanly and precisely. For tips on how, see major chart page.

These chords can be used and mixed with any chords. You may find many sad songs have to have minor chords in them.

I think the Cm, Bm and Fm are the most difficult. If you can switch between those and all others you've been shown so far, you're covering a lot of ground. Many songs have just these two groups of chords in them, or parts of them.
